In my opinion, iconbrickell is one of the most outstanding places to live in the Brickell area. It has a vibrant energy, it’s a solid building with amazing amenities, fine restaurants, direct waterfront, and a park that when you walk it, you feel a peace come over you helping you disconnect from the day. At night, the park is mystical. I feel lucky to have my office on-site at iconbrickell. I rarely feel the need to wander too far to eat, since they have two restaurants on the pool level. There is also elegant Cipriani’s, as well as the upscale Mexican restaurant Cantina La Veinte. I like taking my clients there.

I am addicted to: Carnitas De Pulpo (sauteed octopus with lime-cilantro-serrano-sauce), Tostadas De Atun (fresh tuna marinated with yellow pepper, lime-soy sauce served in a crispy wonton and guacamole topped with crunchy leeks), Huachinango A La Talla (grilled red snapper marinated with your choice). Prices per dish range from $18-$32 approximately.

On days that I’m on the go, I love to pop over to La Veinte Cantina’s gourmet deli and coffee shop downstairs. They have a wide variety of quick delicious bites from breakfast to dinner. My favorites include: the zero fat omelette for breakfast, Tuna taco, fresh juice or Mexican flavored water.

I think what I like the most about this place is their relaxing waterside tables just a few feet from the waters edge. It is one of my favorite places to relax and play a game of backgammon after a long day at work.

Sunday Brunch ($85) is a bargain with bottomless champagne and margaritas. They offer an amazing assortment of food stations such as breakfast, grill, Mexican dishes, and an assortment of desserts. If you want to try it out, remember to reserve in advance for dining upstairs and Sunday brunch. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
